Did you know, you lose water every day through respiration, perspiration, urination, and bowel movements? This is why it is crucial to stay hydrated.  As we lose water throughout the day, we also lose essential electrolytes.  Electrolytes are electrically charged minerals that play a role in muscle contraction and various other physiological processes. The right balance of electrolytes in the body is vital in maintaining proper body function.
