Do You Sleep Like A Baby?

Don’t we all wish we could get this kind of sleep again? We know that sleep is very important for many aspects of our health.  Chronic sleep deprivation is linked to depression, heart disease, and diabetes.  Recent studies have also linked lack of sleep to weight gain. We also know that getting a good night sleep is good for your skin cell regeneration (making you look refreshed and younger!)  A good nights sleep, however is sometimes hard to get.  Here are a few of simple tips:

  1. Get between 7-8 hours of sleep each night, trying to keep the same bedtime and wake up time each day, even on the weekends.
  2. Keep your bedroom free of electronics such as TV’s and laptops.
  3. Exercise each day to promote sleep, but not within 2 hours of bedtime.
